Programme for Spring 2012 

    We look forward to welcoming everyone to our evenings of dancing. We are a friendly group of mixed ability, all dances are walked through first, so do come along and have a go. Most evenings there is a workshop for beginners at 7.30pm, but please phone to check. See also web page about a special Saturday night dance.


    January 4th.   Club caller Pete Hendy will welcome us back after Christmas.  Club band Kan'co will provide the music.
    January 18th.   Club caller Gillian Jackson will guide us through the dances.  The stage will be full with musicians from the big band 'Musical Folk'. This band encourages anyone who is interested in playing for folk dancing and always welcomes new members.

    February 1st.           Tonight we are pleased to welcome Geoff Elwell from Wiltshire. Geoff has called for us many times before. This time we have booked a popular visiting band 'Bees Knees' to play for him.  

    February 15th.  Club caller John Boucher will be choosing the dances tonight and Musical Folk will be playing again. It should be a lively evening. 

    February 29th.   Marj Hendy, another of our club callers, is  leading the dancing tonight. Visiting band 'Baily's Beads' will provide the music. There will be a raffle in aid of the English Folk Dance & Song Society.
     
    March 3rd.  OUR CLUB SATURDAY NIGHT DANCE.  
    This event takes place at St.Barnabas Church Hall, Gloucester GL1 5LJ

    March 14th.   Dee Chapman is making a welcome return visit to call. Dee comes from Warwickshire and always gives us a really good evening of dancing. Our club band Kan'co will be providing the music.
